Indiana's Department of Workforce Development and its WorkOne Centers are designed to provide skill development and improvement for all Hoosiers across the state. WorkOne Centers focus toward skill development in order to meet the needs of a new economy that demands "qualified" workers with specific skill sets to match to specific jobs.

It is the WorkOne promise to give every customer an opportunity to assess their skills, grow and develop their skills and find the best job that matches those skills. In an effort to meet this commitment, I am pleased and proud to announce the availability of MindLeaders Personal Learning Service and e-Learning courses. The FREE courses are available through the Internet from your home, office or anywhere you can be connected to the Internet. Courses are available on a wide assortment of titles including Microsoft Office, Business Communication and Development, Leadership. MIS/IT ... over 170 course titles are available.

I know I am risking sounding like an infomercial, but this is just an incredible opportunity. What challenges do you face today? Do you need to keep up with current technology? Want to improve your business skills? Don't have a lot to spend on training? Would you get a promotion if you were a certified Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS)? To register for free MindLeaders e-Learning Personal Learning course, please call 877-WORK14U (877-967-5148) or stop in your nearest WorkOne Center. You will need to have a picture I.D. and verification of your social security number with you at the time of your initial visit.

All WorkOne Centers are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. The centers are busiest on Monday and Tuesday. If you would like to avoid a wait, visit your nearest WorkOne Center later in the week.
